Air Inlet Restrictions
Check for restrictions in the air inlet system. Refer to the Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting manual for information on inspecting the air inlet system.Air Intake System Piping
Look for the following problems in the lines between the turbocharger compressor and the intake manifold:
Piping that is damaged
Loose clamps
Cracked fittingsRepair any problems. Replace parts, if necessary.Fuel System
Incorrect fuel flow to the engine can cause low intake manifold air pressure. Refer to Troubleshooting, "Fuel Control - Test" in order to properly test the fuel system.
