Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install O-ring seals (4) on engine oil filter base (3).
Position engine oil filter base (3) on the engine and install bolts (1) and bolts (5).
Connect hose assembly (2).
Install engine oil filter (6). Follow the directions on the engine oil filter for the correct installation procedure. Do not overtighten the engine oil filter.
Fill the lubrication system with engine oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" for the lubrication system capacity of the engine. End By:
Install the oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Cooler - Install".
