Start By:a. remove air compressor governor **The air compressor governor does not have to be removed to gain access to the engine oil filter. 1. Using tool (A), remove engine oil filter (1).2. Remove the mounting bracket for the air compressor governor. 3. Remove two bolts (4) and tube assembly (3). Remove the O-ring seal from the end of the tube assembly.4. Remove two bolts (5) and tube assembly (6). Remove the O-ring seal from the end of the tube assembly. 5. Remove four bolts (7) and oil filter base (8). Remove the two O-ring seals from the oil filter base. The following steps are for the installation of the oil filter base and the engine oil filter.6. Check the condition of the O-ring seals used on the ends of tube assemblies (3) and (6), and the two O-ring seals used in the oil filter base. If the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Install the O-ring seals on the tube assemblies, and in the oil filter base. Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil.7. Put oil filter base (8) in position on the cylinder block, and install four bolts (7) that hold it.8. Install tube assemblies (3) and (6).9. Install the mounting bracket for the air compressor governor.10. Install the engine oil filter.
