Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

The hydrostatic drive box is located on the underside of the machine.

Operate the machine for a few minutes before obtaining the oil sample. The oil will be thoroughly mixed for a more accurate sample.

Use the fill port in order to obtain a sample of the hydrostatic drive oil. Note: Remove the oil level/fill plug slowly in order to release pressure.
Clean the oil level/fill plug and install the oil level/fill plug. Models PDF1769-Up and ; FWL951-Up, ; KNP214-Up and ; ERP214-Up
