Introduction
The PLC Utility was developed in order to provide a window into the Marine Monitoring System. The utility provides a supplement for the troubleshooting of hardware. The utility provides a supplement for communications. You can view information about the PLC with the system. You can view parameters which can help pinpoint problems efficiently.Note: The MMS will not run while the PLC Utility is running. Make sure that the system has been restarted when you are finished with the PLC Utility.Use the Ladder Viewer software in order to diagnose PLC problems when the MMS is running. The Ladder Viewer software is run on a PC. The PC is connected to the RS232 port.Reference: Operation and Maintenance Manual, YEBA0162Navigation Between the MMS and the PLC Utility
The MMS and the PLC Utility are designed for separate operation. The two systems have been integrated. The systems work simultaneously on the same computer.
