Description of Change: The new hydraulic cylinder has an improved linear sensor.Adaptable To: The new hydraulic cylinder part number 497101048 is a direct replacement for the existing hydraulic cylinder part number 497101015. The new hydraulic cylinder uses a new linear sensor part number 497101050. Note: The new linear sensor part number 497101050 is not compatible to the existing hydraulic cylinder part number 497101015.Note: The right rear column will need to be recalibrated after the sensor is replaced. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Rear Column Sensors - Calibrate" and to Special Instruction, REHS4779, "Rear Column Sensors - Calibrate" for the correct procedure.The new hydraulic cylinder part number 497101048 is adaptable to the following Cold Planers.
PM-102 (S/N: Z2X1-444)The new hydraulic cylinder part number 497101048 is effective in production to the following Cold Planers.
PM-102 (S/N: Z2X445)Verify that the linear sensor is wired correctly to the Deutsch connector. Verify BR wire is in Position (A), WH wire is in Position (B), GR wire is in Position (C).
