Disconnect the fuel priming pump switch (1655970)from the engine harness.
Remove and discard 2 bolts (0S1617) and 2 washers(9M1974) that secure the switch mounting bracket.
Discard the switch mounting bracket (1806356)and switch (1655970).
Remove lower 2 bolts (3H5932), 2 washers (9N0869),2 spacers (1911783) and 2 mounts (8T9655) which hold the filter base tothe bracket. The top bolt will remain in place to hold the filter baseto the bracket.
Remove the mounts (8T9655) from the spacers (1911783)and reuse mounts (8T9655) on the new spacers (2321376). Discard the oldspacers.
Install the spacer/mount as, the new bracket (2321374),2 new mounts (8T9655), the used washers (9N0869) and the 2 new bolts (4F3508).
Mount the new switch (1655970) to bracket (2321374)
Connect switch (1655970) to harness.
If harness is short, relocate clipto the bolt behind the bracket. Make sure that the harness does not rubagainst any sharp edges.
Confirm proper operation of the switch.
