Start By:
Remove the right engine side guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Side Guard - Remove and Install". Note: SERVICE DATA: TOOLING (ZZ) WILL NOT BE IDENTIFIED IN PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE REMOVAL OR THE INSTALLATION. THIS TOOLING IS SHOWN IN ORDER TO ASSIST THE EXPERIENCED SERVICEMAN.Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct procedure.

Remove shield assemblies (1) and (2).

Remove clamps (3) and (5). Remove tube assemblies (4).
Remove clamps (6) and (7). Remove elbow (8).

Remove bolts (9). Disconnect tube assemblies (10) and the gaskets. Remove bolts (11). Remove bolts (12).

Remove bolt (13). Remove tube assembly (15) and the gasket. Remove bolts (16). Remove hose (17). Use a suitable lifting device in order to remove turbocharger (14). The weight of turbocharger (14) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Installation Procedure

Use a suitable lifting device in order to position turbocharger (14). The weight of turbocharger (14) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Install hose (17). Install bolts (16). Install tube assembly (15) and the gasket. Install bolt (13).

Install bolts (12). Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (11) and install bolts (11). Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft). Connect tube assemblies (10) and the gaskets. Install bolts (9).

Install elbow (8). Install clamps (6) and (7).
Install tube assemblies (4). Install clamps (3) and (5).

Install shield assemblies (1) and (2).
Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct procedure. End By:
