Field adjustment for the 9R8366 Pivot Assembly.
Vehicle must be on level ground.1. Before beginning the adjustment procedure remove the 1021868 Tube Assembly (A) and the 8T0706 Retaining Ring (B) and install a 9R8364 Tube Assembly and a 950919 Retaining Ring. See Illustration 1.2. Rack loader bucket back against stop and raise until the bucket starts to self level (dump).3. Measure the angle of the cutting edge relative to the ground. Angle should be 55 2 degrees.4. If the angle is not within tolerance, adjust the length of the 9R6915 Rod. Lengthening the rod increases leveling angle. Shortening the rod decreases leveling angle. Approximately one complete turn on the rod equals 4 degrees of bucket angle change. See Illustration 2.5. Place loader bucket flat on the ground.6. Loosen screws located on top of the loader bucket arm. Position the switch so that the wheel is on the ramp of the plate at the point where the switch will "click" as it rides down the ramp.7. Tighten all locknuts.8. Connect the switch to the normally closed connector. See Illustrations 3 and 5.Field adjustment for the 9R7156 Pivot Assembly.
Vehicle must be on level ground.Follow the same procedure as the field adjustment procedure for the 9R8366 Pivot Assembly except for the following:
Omit step (1).
Change Step (8) to "Connect the switch to the normally open connector". See Illustrations 4 and 5.
