PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Check the torque on the two 389-5411 Sensor Retaining Screws. The proper tightening specification should be 1.47 +/- 0.3 N.m.
The air cleaner housing may need to be removed in order to allow for easier access. Refer to UENR2328, Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install", for the specific instructions.
If sensor retaining screws are found missing, replace with new 389-5411 Sensor Retaining Screws. Ensure that the sensor is properly oriented at 50 degrees to the horizontal. Refer to Image1.1.3. Refer to Image1.1.1 and 1.1.2 for the location of the 389-5411 Sensor Retaining Screws.
