Procedure for Changing Work Tool Parameters using the Monitor
Note: There are three types of monitors, D series Monitors, F series Monitors, and Mini Monitors. All parameters that need to be changed are in the same area, "Tool Programming" under the "Service" menu. The following procedures show an example of an F series Monitor.

Select"Tool Programming" under "Service" menu. (Service Password is required).

Select the "Tool Type" for the corresponding Hammer sales model.
Select the parameters listed below and replace the default values with the values listed in Table 1:
Tool Program Name
Tool Program Variable Relief Valve #1 Pressure
Tool Program Variable Relief Valve #2 Pressure
Tool Program Hydraulic Temperature High Warning Event Threshold
Tool Program Attachment Valve #1 Flow Setting
Tool Program Attachment Valve #1 Multi– Operation Additional Flow
Tool Program Attachment Valve #1 One Way / Two Way Valve ModeNote: The parameters listed above are minimum requirements. Other parameters may need to be changed based on the machine configuration / application. Diagnostic connector for Cat Electronic Technician
Connect the Cat Electronic Technician to the diagnostic connector.

Start Cat Electronic Technician.

Select the ECM for "Machine Control".

Select "Tool Configuration" from the "Service" menu.

Highlight the tool to view or change the parameters. Click "Configure" in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Highlight the parameter and click "Change" on the lower left corner of the screen to change the parameter. Select the parameters listed below and replace the default values with the values listed Table 1:
