ELBOW AS 5C8377 - Caterpillar

1. Remove the cover assembly (1) and plate assembly (2) from the rear of the machine. 2. Disconnect wires (4) and remove two bolts (3) that fasten the back-up alarm (5) to the mounting plate assemblies. To remove the back-up alarm switch, the cab must be removed. 3. Disconnect two wires (6) from the switch assembly which is fastened to the transmission cover.4. Remove the back-up warning switch assembly (7). If the back-up warning switch assembly is damaged or does not operate, a replacement must be made.5. Connect wires (6) from the oil pressure switch and the back-up alarm to the switch assembly (7).6. Put the alarm (5) in position on plate assemblies and install two bolts (3).7. Connect wires (4) to the back-up alarm.8. Install the cover (1) and plate assemblies (2) to the rear of the machine.
