Sudden movement of the machine or the three-point hitch while connecting implement hydraulics or the PTO drive shaft can cause personal injury. Always lower the implement to the ground and stop the engine before entering the three-point hitch linkage area to connect auxiliary equipment.
Bystanders can become trapped between the machine and the implement when the operator is backing the machine to connect to an implement, causing personal injury or death. Make sure that the surrounding area is free of any personnel before maneuvering to connect an implement.
The drawbar could swing unexpectedly if it is not properly restrained when transporting equipment. Possible unstable operation of the towed implement could cause an accident and result in personal injury. Always install the drawbar swing stop to prevent drawbar swing when transporting equipment.

Adjust the guide blocks and sway blocks to a position that is suitable for the implement and for the application.
Swing the drawbar to the side and secure the drawbar with a pin if equipment that is closely mounted could cause interference. It may be necessary to remove the drawbar.

Move the three-point hitch mode switch to manual mode.Note: In manual mode, the hitch raises only when the control lever is moved all the way rearward. Likewise, the hitch lowers only when the control lever is moved all the way forward. The hitch does not move when the control lever is centered. The movement of the hitch is intentionally slow.

Put the latch handles (1) in the DOWN position.
Back up the machine to the implement. Make sure that the lower hooks (2) are below the pins on the implement. Also, make sure that the upper hooks (3) are below the upper pin. Make sure that the three-point hitch frame is parallel to the implement.
When the upper hooks and the lower hooks are directly below the pins on the implement, raise the three-point hitch slowly in order to capture the implement. Verify that both lower latches of the quick hitch fully engage the hitch pins.
Attach any auxiliary equipment. Auxiliary equipment includes the implement hoses or the PTO drive shaft.

Lower the implement onto a flat, level site. Make sure that the implement is supported properly. The implement should not fall when you uncouple the implement from the machine.
Remove any auxiliary equipment. Auxiliary equipment includes the implement hoses or the PTO drive shaft.

Pull up the latch handles (1) in order to release the pin latches (2) .
Lower the three-point hitch until the hitch clears the pins on the implement. Then, slowly drive away the machine.
