April 2001 PRODUCT LINE ADDITIONS: REMANUFACTURED G3500 CYLINDER HEADS
Caterpillar announces two additional Reman cylinder heads for 3500 gas engines. These head groups are intended for service of standard G3500 Low Emissions EIS 1500 and 1800 r.p.m. engines.

These head groups contain improved valve guides and are equipped with 2.0 angle large swirl intake valve seat inserts.
Upgrade-to-new heads are new casting offerings with new Caterpillar? genuine exhaust valves, valve guides, seats, and other critical components.
All components are processed to Cat print dimensions and tolerances to ensure top performance.
Each head is leak tested for internal and assembly related leaks.
Reman cylinder head groups come fully assembled with valve guides, valves, springs, and hardware to provide a readily available, cost effective repair alternative.
CORE ACCEPTANCE
Core acceptance criteria for Caterpillar remanufactured cylinder heads is simple, visual, and requires no special tools. See Core Acceptance Guideline SELD0018 for complete details. All 3500 model gas cylinder heads are acceptable cores for this offering.
