Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Use a suitable lifting device to position the fixed axle under the machine, as shown. The weight of the fixed axle is approximately 1134 kg (2500 lb).
Install bolts (6) and the washers that hold the fixed axle to the front loader frame. The torque for bolts (6) is 900 100 N m (660 75 lb ft).
Install cover (5) and bolts (4) on each side of the fixed axle.

Connect hose assembly (1) to fixed axle (2) .
Connect harness assembly (3) .
Fill fixed axle (2) with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" for the correct procedure.End By:
Install the front drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Front) - Remove and Install".
Install the front tires and rims. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tire and Rim (Front) - Remove and Install".
