Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Remove line (1), and line (2).

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (3). The weight of turbocharger (3) is approximately 140 kg (309 lb).
If the turbine housing must be rotated to remove the turbocharger, loosen the V-band clamp only enough to allow for rotation (typically 7-10 turns). If the V-band clamp is loosened excessively, the housing may contact the turbine wheel and cause damage. Contact with the housing may cause rapid wear and shorten turbocharger life.
Remove clamp (5), clamp (6), and clamp (7).
Remove bolts (4), and turbocharger (3).

Remove seal (8).
Repeat steps 1 through 5 for the remaining low-pressure turbochargers (3).
