Install bearing cups (17) and (16).

Install lip seal (15). Install retaining ring (14).

Install ring (13). Install bearing cone (12). Install seal (11).

Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A). The weight of the saw disc assembly (4) is approximately 612 kg (1350 lb). Install disc saw assembly (4).

Install seal (10).

Install bearing cone (18).

Install nut (5) hand tight.

The weight of ski assembly (2) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Use two people to install ski assembly (2). Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 520 70 N m (384 52 lb ft).

Reposition felling head onto suitable cribbing.
Release system pressure.

Install Tooling (C). Mark saw disc and plate in order to reposition alignment for dial indicator check.

Use a suitable jack to raise saw disc assembly (4). Read Tooling (D) to note end play. Release jack and spin saw disc assembly three revaluations until marks up on disc and plate line. Dial indictor should be back at zero. Tighten nut using Tooling (B) to achieve an end play of 0.127 to 0.178 mm (0.0050 to 0.007 inch).
Repeat Step 12 in order to achieve the correct end play.

Install plate assembly (8). Install bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 360 36 N m (266 27 lb ft)and hose assembly (7).
