Information:

Weighing the Payload as the Bucket is Lifted
The PCS automatically weighs each bucket load as the load is lifted. This weighing is performed without stopping the loading cycle of the truck or slowing the loading cycle of the truck. The PCS is accurate at any engine speed. The best accuracy occurs when the engine is running at high idle. Lift the bucket smoothly through the entire weigh range.Recommendations
Follow these guidelines when weighing the payload:
Keep the bucket tilted fully backward.
Keep the lift control lever in the detent position.
Keep the engine speed at a constant rpm.
Operate the lift arms smoothly. Avoid sudden stops and avoid sudden motion.
Do not change gear speeds.
Do not change direction.Weigh the Payload While the Bucket is Lifted
Load the bucket.PCS will always show asterisks for the bucket weight while the payload is being weighed. When PCS is in count up mode, the truck weight will show the total weight loaded on the truck. When PCS is in count down mode, the truck weight will show the total amount of required material to add to the truck.
Tilt the bucket fully back.
Smoothly pull the lever into the detent position. Allow the lift arms to rise to the kickout position.Note: Ensure that the kickout is set above the end of the weigh range.
Dump the bucket load into the truck. Load the bucket again and dump the material into the truck. Continue this process until the truck is full.
Press the store switch to write the payload into memory. The display will then reset. The PCS is now ready for the next truck.Note: Pressing the clear button will also clear the display, but the information will not be stored in memory.Operating Cycle
This example is of an operator using the PCS. In this example, the optional automatic truck ID and material ID are being used. The truck is loaded in four passes.Steps Before Loading
The PCS asks the operator for the identification number of the next truck to be loaded.
The message "Press OK to Select a Truck" is displayed. The operator presses the OK button.
The operator presses the up/down button until the desired truck is highlighted.
The operator presses the OK button to select the highlighted truck.First Bucket Load
The operator loads the bucket.
The operator lifts the bucket.Note: The speed of the engine should match the speed that was used to zero the system.
When the bucket reaches the weigh range, the system begins to weigh the load that is in the bucket. The display will show asterisks as the system weighs the load.
As the bucket reaches the end of the weigh range, the display will show the current truck and bucket weights. The truck weight is equal to the first bucket weight.
No reweigh event popup screen appeared, indicating that a good weight has been taken. The material can now be dumped into the truck.Second Bucket Load
Load the second bucket.
The operator lifts the bucket while the machine is traveling to the truck.
The weight will be shown on the display. The truck weight is the sum of the first bucket weight
