This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS5212" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the November 22, 1996 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Affected Product.

The original 118-3511 Washers (Part of 118-2930 Wheel & Final Dr Gp) have been replaced by improved 140-6927 Washers to give additional service life.

Replace the (6) existing 118-3511 Washers with (6) new 140-6927 Washers. New carrier & cover seals will be required (See parts list). A failure in one wheel should constitute the update of all (6) wheels of the truck.
Service Claim Allowances
This is a 16-hour job to replace the washers in all six wheels.
