Narrow Cab - 940 mm (37.0 in)
Wide Cab - 973 mm (38.3 in)
Tools Needed
Nylon rope 4 to 5 mm (.16 to .20 in) diameter, 4.5 m (14.8 ft) long.Soap suds - dilute neutral cleanser 100%. Steel tube 12 to 15 mm (.47 to .59 in) diameter, 1 mm (.04 in) wall thickness, 150 mm (5.9 in) length. Deform one end of the tube into an acute triangle.Installation
View of Front Windshield. (1) Glass. (2) Seal. (3) Window frame. (4) Wiper arm. (5) Area location. (6) Seal. (7) Latches. (8) Seal. (9) Wiper motor. (10) Cover. (A-I) Sequence for installation of window frame seal. (J) View from outside. (K) View from inside.1. Remove wiper arm (4), wiper motor cover (10) and wiper motor (9) from front window frame (3).2. Apply an adhesive in groove (W) at area (5) to prevent the seal from falling away from the glass during installation.5. Start installing rubber seal (2) by fitting groove (W) to new glass (1). Start at the concave portion of the glass at area (5). Make sure not to reverse the inner and outer sides of glass (1) against those of rubber seal (2).
(P) Rope.6. Pass the nylon rope through the tube from the round side and out the triangle side.
(2) Seal. (V) Groove.7. Using the tubing to deflect the seal, lay the rope into groove (V) of seal (2). Start at the bottom of glass (1) and allow the rope to overlap approximately 200 mm (7.9 in) at the start.
Seal Installation. (1) Glass. (2) Seal. (V) Groove. (W) Groove. (X) Area to apply soap suds.8. Apply soap suds to area (X) of rubber seal (2) to lubricate the seal. Do not allow any soapsuds or water to enter groove (W) when installing groove (V) onto the edge of the window frame.9.
