At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the breather filter cap only when the engine is stopped and the breather filter cap is cool enough to touch. Slowly loosen the breather filter cap to release any pressure in the hydraulic tank. Be cautious of hot hydraulic oil when any lines are disconnected in the hydraulic system.
Put identification on all lines, hoses, wires and tubes for installation purposes. Cap and plug all lines, hoses and tubes to prevent foreign material from entering the system. Drain all fluids in a suitable container for storage or disposal. Remove the hydraulic module panels. 1. Disconnect and cap seven hose assemblies (1) to triple check valve (2).2. Disconnect two electrical connectors (3).3. Remove three mounting bolts and remove triple check valve (2). For installation of the steering triple check valve, reverse the removal steps. Start By:a. remove steering triple check valve 1. Remove pressure sensor switch (2) with O-ring from valve body (1). 2. Remove pressure reducing valve (3) from valve body (1). 3. Remove seals and rings (4) from pressure reducing valve (3).4. Remove check valve (5) from valve body (1). 5. Remove seals and rings (6) from check valve (5).6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to disassemble the other three check valves (7) in valve body (1).
