Removal Procedure
To facilitate removal of the bucket pins without causing damage to the pins, the bearings, and/or the O-ring seals put the bucket on the floor and the stick in a vertical position, as shown.
Start the machine. Position the bucket, the stick, and the bucket control linkage, as shown.
Illustration 1 g00911451Note: Relieve the pressure on the bucket pins by moving the stick up and down.
Remove nuts and retaining bolt (2) from bucket pin (5). Remove bucket pin (5).
Pull link assembly (1) away from the bucket. Remove two O-ring seals (4).
Remove nuts and the retaining bolt (3) from bucket pin (6).

Remove two O-ring seals (7).
Remove flange (9) and dowel (8). Check the condition of the flange and the dowel.
The bucket weighs approximately 453 kg (999 lb). The weight of the bucket depends on the size of the bucket that is used.
