If the wiper does not operate with the switch in the ON position, turn the switch off immediately.Check the cause. If the switch remains on, motor failure can result.
If the washers are used continuously for more than 20 seconds or used when no washer solution comes out, motor failure can result.
Note: The window wipers will not operate if the windows are not fully closed.

Lower window wiper/washer (1) - Push down on the front of the switch in order to turn off the lower window wiper. Push down on the rear of the switch in order to turn on the lower window wiper. Fully push down the rear of the switch and keep the switch depressed in order to activate the lower window washer. While the switch is depressed, the window washer fluid will spray from the nozzle. The window wiper will also function. When you release the switch, the window washer will stop. The window wiper will continue to function. Note: Not all machines are equipped with a lower window wiper/washer.
Upper window wiper (2) - Push down the front of the switch in order to turn off the upper window wiper. Push down the rear of the switch in order to turn on the upper window wiper. Push down the rear of the switch once for intermittent mode. Push down the rear of the switch twice for continuous mode.
Upper window washer (3) - Fully push down the rear of the switch and keep the switch depressed in order to activate the upper window washer. While the switch is depressed, the window washer fluid will spray from the nozzle. The window wiper will also function. When you release the switch, the window washer will stop. The window wiper will continue to function.
