Check Of Hook
Set retainer device at open position and check that the latch moves smoothly the working range. If the latch device does not move smoothly, breaks or wears, replace the latch device. Move the latch front and rear with the latch device set, and check that there is the large backlash. Do not use the latch device that there is the backlash or the spring is breaking. When the latch device is set, check the clearance between the hook and the latch. Replace the latch device which is deforming. When the latch device is set, check that the latch deforms so much that the latch does not cover the top of the hook. Replace the latch device deformed. Check extremely scratch, crack and welding on the hook. Replace the hook which has harmful scratch, crack or welding. Visually check or hit the hook with a test hammer to check the corrosion. Hook with rust or corrosion grinds on a grinder and applies oil. Do not use the hook with deep corrosion that cannot be removed with grinder. In case swivel section of the hook has not turned smoothly or the backlash has become large, replace the hook. Replace the hook if the nail of the hook is deforming. If the shake of hook top in front/rear and left/right directions is 5mm or more, or the backlash of hook top in up/down directions is 4mm or more, replace the hook. Do not use the hook which has reached the discard dimension on the above table.
