Removal Procedure
Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position. Disconnect the negative battery terminal at the battery.
Remove the voltage load protection module. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Voltage Load Protection Module - Remove and Install".

Loosen the screw (2) in order to disconnect the harness assembly (3) from the electronic control module (1).
Remove the setscrews (6). Remove the spacers (4) and the isolation mounts (5).
Remove the electronic control module. Installation Procedure

Position the spacers (4) and the isolation mounts (5). Install the electronic control module (1). Note: The ground cable (8) must be installed correctly in order to prevent damage to the electrical components.
Install the setscrews (6). Tighten the setscrews to a torque of 22 5.5 N m (16 4 lb ft).
Connect the harness assembly (3). Tighten the screw (2) to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 8 lb in).
Install the voltage load protection module. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Voltage Load Protection Module - Remove and Install".
Connect the negative battery terminal at the battery. Turn the disconnect switch to the ON position.
Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position. Disconnect the negative battery terminal at the battery.
Remove the voltage load protection module. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Voltage Load Protection Module - Remove and Install".

Connect the harness assembly (3). Tighten the screw (2) to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 8 lb in).
Install the voltage load protection module. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Voltage Load Protection Module - Remove and Install".
Connect the negative battery terminal at the battery. Turn the disconnect switch to the ON position.
