A 6V-0006 Pliers 1
Verify that all of the components of the speed sensor are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.
Inspect all components for wear and replace the components, if necessary.

Install spacer (6) to housing (4).
Position housing (4) and spacer (6) on the cover assembly. Be sure that the splines on the sensor shaft are engaged with the splines in the sensor rotor.
Install the spacers, the grommets, the hard washers and bolts (5).
Connect wire harness (3) to the speed sensor. Tighten the nut clockwise with Tool (A) (not shown) and insert the lockwire to the next hole in the clockwise direction.

Install guard (2), the spacer, the grommet, the washers and two bolts (1).
