Information:

1. Put pump (1) in position on the pump drive and install bolts.2. Connect the oil inlet and outlet lines to the pump.3. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Disassemble Swing And Pilot System Pump
start by: a) remove swing and pilot system pump Keep all the parts that are removed during disassembly with their respective section.1. Thoroughly clean the outside of the pump.2. Put identification on each section of the pump for use at assembly of the pump.3. Remove the nuts that hold the flange in place. 4. Put clean grease on the splines of drive gear (1) to prevent damage to the lip-type seals in the flange when the flange is removed.
TYPICAL EXAMPLE5. Remove flange (2) from the pump. Loosen the flange with a rubber hammer if it can not be removed from the pump. 6. Inspect the inner lip-type seal and outer lip-type seal (3) in the flange. Remove the outer seal, snap ring, and inner seal as needed. 7. Remove isolation plate (4), ring retainer (7), seal (6), and back-up ring (5). 8. Lift drive gear (1) until pressure plate (8) is clear of the body. Remove the pressure plate. 9. Remove drive gear (1) and idler gear (9) from the pump.
Be extra careful when removing the pressure plate from the pump. Do not use force to remove the pressure plate.
10. Keep pressure plate (10) as level as possible and remove it from the pump. 11. Remove isolation plate (12), ring retainer (11), seal (14), and back up ring (13). 12. Remove body (15) from the pump. 13. Remove coupling (16) from the pump. 14. Remove body (17) from the pump. 15. Remove isolation plate (18), ring retainer (21), seal (20), and back up ring (19). 16. Remove pressure plate (22) from the pump. 17. Remove idler gear (23) and drive gear (24). 18. Remove pressure plate (25) from the body. 19. Remove isolation plate (27), ring retainer (29), seal (28), and back up ring (26) from the body.Assemble Swing And Pilot System Pump
1. Thoroughly clean all of the parts. See DIAGNOSING TYRONE GEAR PUMP FAILURES; Form No. FEG45137 for assistance in inspection of the parts. 2. Inspect all of the parts for the rear section of the pump. Check the bores in the body for wear. Measure the depth of the groove in each bore. If the groove is deeper than .015 in. (0.38 mm), a replacement of the rear section and gears must be made. 3. Inspect all of the parts for the front section of the pump. Check the bores in the body for wear. Measure the depth of the groove in each bore. If the groove is deeper than .015 in. (0.38 mm), a replacement of the front section and gears must be made. The isolation plates for the rear section of the pump are different. Isolation plate (1) has a radius along its outer edge. The other isolation plate does not have a radius along its
