Side Panel Adjustment Procedure

Tilt Hood Actuator 1. Raise the engine hood. The tilt hood actuator is located on the left side of the machine.

Illustration 3.(1) 124-0724 Left-hand Bracket.(2) 124-0725 Right-hand Bracket.(3) Bolt.2. Loosen four bolts (3) that hold 124-0724 Left-hand Bracket (1) in position.3. Pull the panel in towards the engine compartment and hold into position while retightening bolts (3) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).4. Close the engine hood.5. Observe the location of the edge of the hood panel with respect to the round edge of the panel or step support. The seal on the edge of the hood panel should rest on the surface of the panel or step support. The seal should not spread wider than the edge. Repeat as necessary.6. Use Steps 1 through 5 for 124-0725 Right-hand Bracket (2).
