Information:

(1) Remove accessory drive shaft (1) and gear (2) as shown in the Service Manual procedure "REMOVE ACCESSORY DRIVE". Remove gear (2) from shaft (1). (2) Measure the bore of new 6H5919 Gear (3) and the diameter of original shaft (1). If the interference fit between the gear and the shaft (dimension A minus dimension B) is more than .004" (0.10), grind the bore of gear (3) until dimension (B) is 1.7265" .0005"Ø (43.853 0.013Ø). (3) Heat gear (3) to a temperature of 500 10°F (260 6°C). Install gear (3) on shaft (1) to the dimension shown. Install the accessory drive shaft and the remainder of the accessory drive as shown in the Service Manual.
