PROBLEM
The existing Parallel Lift Loader Arm can fail at the A-pin boss, F-pin boss or torque tube welds on certain 420D, 428D, 432D, 438D and 442D Backhoe Loaders.

ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect the area around the A-pin and F-pin bosses and around the torque tube for weld failures. If a weld failure is found and the crack has not entered the base metal, remove the existing weld and apply a new weld to the area. If the crack has entered the base metal, the lift arm must be replaced. Note: The 112-0943 lift arm has now been replaced by 277-6285 for field service.
