Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to remove gear and bearing (2). The weight of gear and bearing (2) is approximately 64 kg (140 lb).Installation Procedure

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to install gear and bearing (2). The weight of gear and bearing (2) is approximately 64 kg (140 lb).
Apply Tooling (B), or the equivalent to bolts (1) and install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 270 40 N m (199 30 lb ft).End By: Install the housing and the gear and bearing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Housing, Gear and Bearing - Remove and Install".
