Information:

1. Disconnect air line (1) from the union.2. Remove adapter (2) from the transmission case. 3. Pull tube (3) out through the side of the transmission case.4. Remove the three bolts that hold reducing valve (4) to the number one clutch housing. Remove the reducing valve.Install Reducing Valve
1. Put reducing valve (1) in position on the number one clutch housing and install the three bolts that hold it in place. Tighten the three bolts to a torque of 22 3 lb.ft. (28 4 N m).2. Install tube (2).3. Install the adapter in the transmission case. 4. Connect air line (3) to the union.end by:a) install transmission hydraulic control valvesDisassemble Reducing Valve
start by:a) remove reducing valve 1. Remove bolts (1), cover (6), O-ring seal (2) and piston (7) from valve body (3).
Cover (5) holds a spring under compression.
2. Remove bolts (10), cover (5), spring (9), spacers (4) and valve spool (8) from valve body (3).3. Remove slug (13), snap ring (15), retainer (12), spring (14) and plunger (11) from valve spool (8).Assemble Reducing Valve
1. Install plunger (5), spring (4), retainer, snap ring and slug (3) in valve spool (6) as shown.2. Install valve spool (6), spacers (7), spring (13), cover (8) and bolts (9) in valve body (12) as shown.3. Install piston (2), O-ring seal (11), cover (1) and bolts (10) in valve body (12) as shown. Tighten bolts (9) and (10) to a torque of 22 3 lb.ft. (28 4 N m).end by:a) install reducing valve
