"Transmission Drive Pump Pressure Override Calibration"
Illustration 2 g01571278
Illustration 3 g01571373
This calibration is used in order to identify the relief pressures in the drive loops of the hydrostatic transmission. Identifying the relief pressures allows the transmission control to optimize the hydraulic pressure in the drive loops. Pressures that are too low will affect the performance of the machine and pressures that are too high can damage the components in the hydrostatic transmission. This calibration determines the maximum pressure that the ECM should allow the drive pressure to reach. The calibration checks the range of the pressure in order to ensure that the pressure is within the acceptable range.Note: The transmission must be operated in the FORWARD. The transmission must be operated in the REVERSE. Operate the transmission in each direction for 5 seconds before conducting the calibration again."Implement Operator Control Calibrations"
Illustration 4 g01572233
Illustration 5 g01572815
This calibration associates a duty cycle to a given lever position for the following components:
Drawworks winches
Counterweight control"Hystat Pump and Motor Solenoid Calibration"
Illustration 6 g01572881
Illustration 7 g01572890
Note: Secure the machine on stands before the calibration is performed.
To prevent injury or death, never work under a machine while a test is being performed.
The "forward pump and motor solenoid calibration" determines the minimum and maximum solenoid currents for the forward pump and motor solenoids. The "reverse pump solenoid calibration" determines the minimum and maximum solenoid currents for the reverse pump solenoids. The minimum currents for the solenoids of the pump are defined as the minimum current that is needed to start moving the tracks. The maximum current for the solenoids of the pump is the maximum current that is required to fully stroke the pumps. The minimum current for the motor solenoids is the current that is required to start destroking the motor. The maximum current for the motor solenoids is the current that is needed to achieve a predetermined machine speed. The calibration is for the following components:
Solenoid calibration for the forward pumps and motors
Solenoid calibration for the reverse pumps and motors"Implement Valve Solenoid Calibrations (Visual)"

Calibration procedures are available for the following solenoids:
Illustration 9 g01572920
Solenoid for retraction of the counterweight
Solenoid for extension of the counterweight
Solenoid for hook raise
Solenoid for hook lower
Solenoid for boom raise
Solenoid for boom lower"Operator Control Calibrations (Hystat)"
