Materials Windows Set Up
The "Materials" windows can be set up in the office using the "Screen Configuration" utility. ReferenceFor additional information about configuring these windows, refer to Systems Operation, KENR6338, "Window Configure". Only the "All material Histogram" window is recommended for operator use. If any of the other Materials windows are used, then the format of the windows should be kept as simple as possible so that the operator can easily and quickly interpret the information.Before setting up Materials windows, either create a new screen or else ensure that there is sufficient space available on the current screen.Use the following steps in order to create new Materials windows:
Select "Configuration" from the main menu.

Select "Materials". The "Create Materials Window" dialog appears.

Select one of the radio buttons in order to specify which type of window is required.
The left hand window pane in the Create Materials Window dialog contains check boxes for the various parameters of the materials. In the Materials window, select the check boxes for the required information.
Enter a value in the "History Count" field in order to limit the maximum number of rows that are stored in memory. The history count is only used when screen changes occur. This value will also control the amount of operating memory that is used for this feature.
Select the "Display Current Truck" check box in order to display information in the top row of the Materials window for the current truck load.
Check the "Set Background to Material Color" in order to make the background color of the materials window the same as the color of either the predominant material or the override material.
Press "OK". The Materials window is created.
Resize and move the new Materials window as required.All Material Histogram Set Up
Use the following steps in order to create an "All material Histogram" window:
Select "Configuration" from the main menu.
Select "Materials". The "Create Materials Window" dialog appears.
Select the "All material Histogram" radio button.

Check the "Show Mined Out Material in Histogram" in order for the histogram display to indicate the percentage that is mined out for each material.
Press "OK". The All material Histogram window is created.
Resize and move the new All material Histogram window as required.Interpreting Materials Windows
This section outlines the information that is displayed in the Materials windows. The current truck has been loaded with five buckets. Illustration 5 depicts the four types of Materials windows. The "Identifier" field in Table 1 identifies the type of window. In Illustration 5 this window type identifier is located in the first column of each of the windows.
