Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Clean surface (6) and the mating surface of the water pump.
Inspect the condition of the O-ring seals. Replace the seals, if necessary.

Install the O-ring seal on water pump (5).
Position water pump (5) on the front of the engine. Install four bolts (4) and bolt (3).
Connect hose (2) to water pump (5). Install hose clamp (1).
Use Tool (A) and install the drive belt on the drive pulley on the alternator.
Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.
