The 0R-9393 Cylinder Pack Gp with the date code D30M01Y07P68L were found with piston rings that are installed in the wrong position. Extremely high oil consumption may result from all the intermediate rings that are installed in the position of the top ring.Solution
Check all stock of 0R-9393 Cylinder Pack Gp with a date code of 28January 2007 through 31January 2007. Ensure that the piston rings are in the correct position.

Install the top piston ring (1) with the side that is marked "UP-1" toward the top of the piston.
Install the intermediate piston ring (2) with the side marked "UP-2" toward the top of the piston.
The spring ends of the oil control ring (3) should be assembled 180 degrees from the end gap of the ring.
