There are two scrapers. One scraper is in front of the drum. The second scraper is at the rear of the drum.Adjust
Inspect the scraper (3). Clean the scraper of dirt and debris.
Loosen the bolts (4) that are holding the rear flexible scraper blade and the backing plates to the bracket.
Loosen the nuts (1) that hold the front flexible scraper blade and the backing plates to the bracket.Note: When you adjust the scraper (3), the steel backing plates (2) must not come into contact with the surface of the drum.
Adjust the flexible scraper blades (2) to 7 mm (0.25 inch) away from the surface of the drum. The backing plates (2) must be set back 35 mm (1.375 inch) from the end of the scraper. Adjust the scraper blades (3) and the backing plates together.
Tighten the nuts.Replace the Flexible Scrapers
Replace the flexible scrapers if the flexible scrapers are excessively worn or the scrapers are damaged.
Loosen the bolts and the nuts (1) that are holding the flexible scraper (3) .
Remove the flexible scraper (3). Install the new flexible scraper.Note: When you adjust the scraper (3), the steel backing plates (2) must not come into contact with the surface of the drum.
Adjust the flexible scraper blades (2) to 7 mm (0.25 inch) away from the surface of the drum. The backing plates (2) must be set back 35 mm (1.375 inch) from the end of the scraper. Adjust the scraper blades (3) and the backing plates together.
Tighten the bolts and tighten the nuts.Steel Scrapers
There is one scraper that is located on the front bumper.Adjust
Loosen the two bolts.Adjust the steel scraper to 25 mm (1 inch) from the drum surface.Padded Drum Scraper Assembly (If Equipped)

There is an optional scraper that is located at the rear of the drum.
Inspect the scraper. Clean the dirt and the debris from the scraper.
There are two bolts (2) for each scraper. Each scraper is individually adjustable.
Slide the scraper toward the drum. Adjust the tips so the tips are 25 mm (1 inch) from the surface of the drum.
Tighten bolts and the nuts.
