Extend the extenders.
Remove the screed.
Remove the thickness control.

Remove four bolts (2) and plate (1).

Attach a suitable lifting device to drop arm (3). The weight of drop arm (3) is approximately 80 kg (176 lb).

Loosen bolt (5).
Remove the bolt, the washer, pivot pin (4), and drop arm (3).Installation Procedure
Install drop arm (3) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) to pivot pin (4).
Apply Tooling (B) to bolt (5).
Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 170 34 N m (125 25 lb ft).
