5. Cut 3 straps to remove wiring harness.
*Do not reuse the wiring harness.
6. Remove Clip-ladder, Washer and Bolt.

7. Loosen 3 bolts and remove original fuel priming pump/filter module.
* Mount rubbers, spacers, bolt and washer will be reused.
*Do not reuse the original fuel priming pump/filter module.
8. Install replacement fuel priming pump/filter module (2999265) using mount rubbers, spacers, bolt and washer from original.
[Tighten to 12+/-3 Nm]

9. Install resistor to fuel filter mounting plate with provided bolts and washers.
[Tighten to 28+/-7 Nm]
10. Change angle of indicated ladder clip. (Refer to view A)
11. Connect resistor wiring harness to fuel priming pump/filter module and chassis harness.
12. Tighten wiring harness by straps.
13. Reconnect 3x fuel hoses
14. Open Shut off valve. *Do NOT forget.
REWORK PROCEDURE FOR GROUP 2 (318D2L)
1. Close Fuel Shut off valve.
2. Drain Fuel from fuel priming pump/filter module.
3. Disconnect 3 fuel hoses (quick fit).
4. Disconnect wiring harness connector from fuel priming pump/filter module

1. Close Fuel Shut off valve.
2. Drain Fuel from fuel priming pump/filter module.
3. Disconnect 3 fuel hoses (quick fit).
4. Disconnect wiring harness connector from fuel priming pump/filter module.
5. Cut 3 straps to remove wiring harness (*Retain wiring harness)

6. Loosen 3 bolts and remove original fuel priming pump/filter module
* Mount rubbers, spacers and washer will be reused.
* Do not reuse the original fuel priming pump/filter module

7. Install replacement fuel priming pump/filter module (2999265) using mount rubbers, spacers, bolt and washer from original.
Tighten fuel priming pump/filter module and bracket together [Tighten to: 12 +/-3 Nm]

8. Tighten resister and connector clip/ladder clip together [Tighten to: 28 +/-7 Nm]
9. Connect resistor wiring harness to fuel priming pump/filter module
10. Fix connector clip on support [Tighten to 28 +/-7 Nm]
11. Reroute chassis harness
12. Connect resistor wiring harness to chassis harness using jumper harness removed in Step 5
13. Reconnect 3x fuel hoses
14. Open shut off valve before primary filter. *Do NOT forget.
