Attach a suitable lifting device to yoke (3), as shown. The weight of the yoke is approximately 1050 kg (2315 lb).Note: If the machine is equipped with the added weight option to the yoke, the weight of the yoke is approximately 2550 kg (5622 lb).

Use the hoist to position the yoke against the machine frame.
Install clamp (9) and bolts (8). Do not tighten the bolts.
Install clamp (7) and bolts (6). Do not tighten the bolts.

Make sure that the gap between the bearing cap and clamp (7) is equal to the gap between the bearing cap and clamp (9) .

Tighten bolts (6) and (8) in the order that is shown. Tighten Bolt (W) first. Tighten Bolt (X) after tightening Bolt (W). Tighten Bolt (Y) after tightening Bolt (X). Tighten Bolt (Z) after tightening Bolt (Y). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 800 100 N m (590 74 lb ft).
Repeat Step 6. After the bolts have been torqued the gap on each side of clamps (7) and (9) should be equal.

Raise the yoke and remove Tooling (A) from both sides of the machine frame.

Position Tooling (A) under yoke (3), as shown. Lower the yoke onto Tooling (A) and remove the suitable lifting device.

Install pins (4) and the bolts that fasten the steering cylinders to hitch (5) .

Position the hose assemblies for the propel motor on yoke (3). Install clamps (2) .
Position the hose assemblies for the vibratory motor on yoke (3). Install clamps (1) .End By: Install the drum. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drum - Install".
