The CID 0869 diagnostic code is associated with the right lift cylinder position sensor. The FMI 13 diagnostic code is recorded when the Implement ECM determines that the position sensor requires calibration. This diagnostic code will only appear when the Implement ECM has been replaced. This diagnostic code will no longer be present after the calibration procedure for the sensor has been performed.System Response:A level 2 warning will be generated. The Auto Return, Auto Spread and Auto Carry will not be working properly.Test Step 1. PERFORM CALIBRATION
Perform the calibration procedure for the position sensors for the lift cylinders. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Calibration" procedure in the service manual for your machine. Expected Result:The calibration procedure was performed successfully.Results:
YES - The calibration procedure was performed successfully.Repair: Resume normal machine operation.STOP
NO - The calibration procedure was NOT performed successfully. Repair: Perform the calibration procedure again. Watch the lift tilt cylinders in order to ensure that the cylinders are able to reach full retract and full extend. The calibration procedure will fail if the cylinders do not fully retract or the cylinders do not fully extend. Evaluate the cylinders in order to determine the cylinder that is preventing the full movement of the lift cylinder.STOP
