A - Loctite Nickel Antiseize -
If reusing the exhaust elbow, and or the bellows, refer to Special Instruction, REHS5014, "Reuse Guideline for the Lines Group - Flexible pipe on Tier 4 Engines".
Illustration 4 g03635336
Typical example of alignment wrap.
Illustration 5 g03635367
Alignment wrap is not shown for photographic purposes. Typical example.
Note: Alignment Wrap will be included with the new bellows assembly. The alignment wrap will be pre-installed on the bellows.
Place Mark (Y) onto elbow (7). Mark (B) should be a distance of Dimension (X) from the end of elbow (7). Dimension (X) is 40 mm (1.6 inch).

Illustration 8 g03634835
Typical example.
Prior to installation, position both ball clamp assemblies (3) and (8) onto the bellows assembly.
Position the bellows assembly between the Clean Emissions Module and the tube assembly (2). Adjust the length of elbow (7) in the slip joint at clamp assembly (6) in order to position the bellows assembly.
Apply Tooling (A) to sensor assembly (5). Tighten sensor (5) to a torque of 50 N m (37 lb ft).
Verify that Mark (B) is not visible at the slip joint that is positioned near clamp assembly (6).Note: Do not use power tools in order to torque clamp assemblies (3), (6), and (8).
Torque ball clamps (8) and (3) to a torque of 35 2 N m (26 1 lb ft).
Remove alignment wrap from bellows (5).
Torque clamp assembly (6) to a torque of 55 8 N m (41 6 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads only of nitrogen oxide sensor (4). Install nitrogen oxide sensor (5) into the flexible exhaust pipe. Tighten nitrogen oxide sensor (5) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
