Right Console
(1) Propel lever
(2) Vibratory control switch Vibratory control switch (2) is located on top of propel lever (1). The vibratory control switch is a push button, latching type switch. The switch contacts are normally open.Vibratory control switch (2) serves as the master switch for the vibratory system. When the vibratory control switch is pressed, the vibratory system is enabled. When the switch is pressed again, the vibratory system is disabled. The vibratory system can be operated when propel lever (1) is in the forward range, neutral and reverse range.
If the machine has been turned off with the vibratory system ON, the vibratory system will come on as soon as the machine is restarted. Therefore, for easier starting and to keep the surface finish smooth, be ready to switch off vibration should vibration come on while cranking the engine.
Note: The vibratory system will remain on even when propel lever (1) is in NEUTRAL. When operating on asphalt and in order to keep the surface finish smooth, turn off the vibratory system before stopping the machine.

Under Operator's Seat
(5) Seat switch Seat switches (5) are located under the operator seat. The seat switch contacts are normally open. When an operator sits in the seat, seat switches (5) close. The seat switches affect vibratory control switch (2) operation through a control module. When the seat switches are open, power is interrupted to the vibratory control switch.Note: Stationary seat models use one seat switch to perform the same function.Note: If, the operator leaves the seat for longer then 0.5 seconds while the machine is vibrating, the vibratory system is disabled. If the operator returns to the seat, the vibratory system remains disabled until propel lever (1) is cycled through the NEUTRAL position.
