Remove the valve mechanism cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install".
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Disconnect harness assemblies (1) and (2). Disconnect harness assemblies (3) for the fuel injectors. Remove bolts (4) and remove valve mechanism cover base (5) .Installation Procedure

Position valve mechanism cover base (5) and install bolts (4). Connect harness assemblies (3) for the fuel injectors. Connect harness assemblies (1) and (2) .End By: Install the valve mechanism cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install".
