Release the track tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track - Check/Adjust".

Position the track so that master link (2) is positioned just above the centerline of rear idler (1) . Place suitable cribbing under track shoe (3) that is located just below master link (2) . Move the track to the rear until track shoe (3) makes contact with the suitable cribbing.

Raise blade (4) . Position Tooling (A) under each side of blade (4) . Lower blade (4) onto Tooling (A) .

Install Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device onto track shoe (5) . The weight of track shoe (5) is approximately 70 kg (155 lb). Remove bolts (6) and remove track shoe (5) .

Install Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device onto track (7) , as shown. Use Tooling (B) and the suitable lifting device in order to control the removal of track (7) .Single Tooth Master Link Track Separation Procedure
