8S-8048 Saddle     2    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Attach a suitable lifting device around the drum of boom winch (11), as shown. The combined weight of boom winch (11), the hook winch, and the winch frame is approximately 2359 kg (5200 lb).
Use the suitable lifting device to position boom winch (11), the hook winch, and winch frame (13) on the machine.
Install ten bolts (12) .

Position accumulator assembly (10) and install bolts (9) .

Connect hose assembly (7) and install clip (8) .

Use a suitable lifting device to raise counterweight frame (4) off Tooling (B) and into the stored position.

Install locking bolt (6) and lock (5) .

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to position counterweight frame (1) on the machine and install pin assembly (2). Repeat this Step for the other side of counterweight frame (1). The weight of counterweight frame (1) is approximately 1700 kg (3750 lb).
Align the bores of the link and counterweight cylinder with counterweight frame (1) and install pin assembly (3). Repeat this Step for the other side of counterweight frame (1) .End By:
Install the hook winch motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hook Winch Motor - Install".
Install the boom winch motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Boom Winch Motor - Install".
Install the lower load sheave block. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Load Sheave Block (Lower) - Install".
Install the lower boom sheave block. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Boom Sheave Block (Lower) - Install".
Install the counterweight sections. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight Sections - Remove and Install".
