ACTION REQUIRED
Install a continuous electric prelube pump which provides a constant supply of lube oil to the turbo bearings and thrust washers prior to engine start-up.
Choose 7L5219 Relay for a coil rated for 110V or 513-0939 Relay for a coil rated for 240V depending on the voltage available on site. You will only need one of these relays to complete the installation.
Refer to the HIS system (Hydraulic Information System) to make the 031-1030 Hose Assembly.
Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary and see Special Instructions, REHS9248, for installation instructions for the continuous prelube pump.

A continuous prelube pump needs to be installed on the products listed below. The existing turbocharger can fail due to lack of engine oil lubrication at start up. Failure to comply with installing this system may, in conjunction with other factors or circumstances, result in a risk of personal injury or death. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
