Locate the battery disconnect switch. The battery disconnect switch is contained in the ground level service center which is located at the front of the left-hand fender. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Remove the key.
Disconnect the battery cable at the battery disconnect switch.
Disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery.
Replace the disconnect switch, the battery cables, or the batteries, as required.
Connect the negative battery cable at the battery.
Connect the negative battery cable at the battery disconnect switch.
Install the key and turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position. Battery Recycle
Always recycle a battery. Never discard a battery.Always return used batteries to one of the following locations:
A battery supplier
An authorized battery collection facility
Recycling facility
