Keyswitch with "Not Available" or "Cool Down" indicated
Keyswitch will indicate "Not Available" or "Cool Down" if equipped with Delayed Engine Shutdown
Stopping the engine immediately after the engine has been working under load, can result in overheating and accelerated wear of the engine components.
Note: Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU8519, "Stopping the Engine" section of this OMM for the proper procedure to allow the engine to cool, and to prevent excessive temperatures in the turbocharger housing (if equipped), which could cause oil coking problems.

Machine Selection button
On the Main Screen select the Machine Selection button.

Start screen with the RC terminate button
In the Machine Information section select the RC Terminate button. The icon will disappear from the screen.

Close the program by clicking the red close window icon in upper right-hand corner of the screen.

Exit popup window will appear on the screen. Select "Yes" to exit the application.

Press the Terminate RC button on the Machine Select screen.
Power down the operator station PC and touchscreen.
Exit the Vision System Application.
Power down the Vision System PC and Monitor.
Turn the operator station disconnect switch to the OFF position.

The delayed lighting feature is used so the operator can have available lighting to switch from RC to manual operation.Use the following steps to use the delayed lighting shutdown feature.
Turn on the lights via the operator station.
Power the station down.
The forward ROPS lights will turn on.
Walk over to the GLSC and turn the RC/manual mode switch from RC to manual.Note: The delayed lighting timer will be in effect.If the operator wishes to stop the timer, the operator can toggle the access light switch on the GLSC.
The first toggle will switch the power train from remote control to manual mode
A second toggle will turn on the access lights
The operator can climb in the cab after changing the mode from remote to manual, and turn the key switch in the cab to stop the timerEngine Idle Shutdown (Only Available on Machines with Serial Number Prefixes FMC, ; AMA, ; GEB, ; JEL, ; JJW, ; JNS, ; MDG, ; RAB, ; RJG, and ; TPB)
If the engine idle shutdown feature is enabled under the engine configurations in Cat ET, the RC system can exit out of the shutdown timer. The process is similar to manual mode. The engine idle shutdown delay timer will start counting down from a user specified value. The default time is 5 minutes. The countdown can be observed in Cat ET. Look under C32
