ACTION REQUIRED
1.Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location.
2. Lower all of the implements. Engage the parking brake. Turn the engine OFF. Disconnect all electrical power. Refer to Operation and Maintence Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch" of the machine that is being worked on for more information about disconnecting electrical power.
3. Drain the fuel tank into an approved container.
4. Remove 6 8T-1159 Bolts and 6 2H-8128 Washers, disconnect 163-5456 Hose Assembly from vent valve. (See Image 1)
5. Install new 188-8059 Vent Assembly, install 1 1H-8128 O-ring, attach 163-5456 Hose and tighten to a torque of 3.4 +/- 1.0 N.m (2.5 +/- 0.75 lb. ft.) (See Image 2)
6. Reinstall the vent in the tank, tighten 6 8T-1159 Bolts to a torque of 13.0 +/- 3.0 N.m (9.5 +/- 2.0 lb. ft.). (See Image 3)
7. Prepare Machine for operation.
